Pos-graduation in Marketing by ESPM - School of Advertising and Marketing. Graduation in Economic Sciences from Pontifícia Catolic University of São Paulo. Graduated in Textile Technology - SENAI School Francisco Matarazzo.


Jose Favilla's works includes the developments of elastane yarn in Brazil, among them fabrics for intimate appareal and beachwear segments produced with warp knitting machines and cotton/elastane in circular knitting. He worked in companies such as DuPont do Brasil where he was a member of the team responsable for the development in the country of brands like Lycra®, Supplex® e Coolmax®.

Since 1989 has been providing services in the area of technical support and textile development. Among cliests are Brazilian and global companies that operate in the segment of raw materials, fabrics, clothing and retailers.

At the end of 2017 he founded iKrom, a servive textile provider that aims to meet needs of the segment and its sustainability toward the Circular Economy approach. Since then, he has been offering customized services to companies seeking complience and meeting the new demands of the consumers and market.

2017 the beginning and a purpose under construction

i - represents inormation,interaction and innovation as catalysts for good and healthy changes.

krom - from the Esperanto language: in addition to or expect, a reminder of practices that affect the community and the environment. Esperanto was created to facilitate communication between people of world. It is an international and neutral language, providind communication between people without any tendency towards cultural, political, religious and economic hegemony. In the logo it symbolizes the efforts beyond the tangible, accompanied by the Ensō circle.

Ensō (circle in Japanese). It is a symbol that represents the cyclical nature of existence. They do not have a real beginning or end, but evolution with each cycle. In addition to ligting, strength and the universe, it means and represents the circular economy in the logo, recognizing its possible imperfections. Its cycles are reinvigorated with each new beginning, with more balance and improvement, an inspiration for new conducts and production systems.

2022 after 5 years of activities, the iKrom logo is adjusted to anthropocentrism, without abandoning the essence, but incorporating learnings that go beyond the apparent sustainability found in incomplete consumer stories. This new phase bears the symbolism of brown as the constant warning that dry land and water shortages will come if nothing is done. The vowel i also starts to incorporate the interrelationships in nature that provides us with ecosystem services for life, as well as interdisciplinarity and knowledge to avoide and mitigate the impacts of human activities on nature. Ensō remains transcendent in the continuous search for balance and improvement and inspiration for the new ducts, as dreamed of since the beginning!
